Synthetic Oil vs. Conventional Motor Oil
Synthetic engine oil has become increasingly used for engines due to the advantages over convention oil. Synthetic oil is better on your engine and has fewer impurities. It can also go much longer than conventional or hybrid synthetic blend oils. If you typically use conventional oil, it is perfectly safe to switch to synthetic oils. Going from synthetic to conventional oil is also safe. As previously mentioned, synthetic blends are also an option. This is simply a blend of synthetic oil and conventional oil. Determining the oil type is based on preference and are both effective in prolonging the life of your engine .
Risks of NOT Changing Your Oil
Avoiding changing your vehicle engine oil can decrease the lifespan of your vehicles engine causing wear and tear and sometimes serious irreversible damage to vital engine components. The damage caused by not changing your oil can be severe, dangerous, and expensive.
